Fryup Press is the name I chose as a publisher. Why? Because we lived in a small dale called Fryup in the Esk Valley in the North York Moors. We now live near Glaisdale. This banner photo is our home, overlooking the Esk Valley
I have written two books and published three other authors and helped several more to publish their own books. I have a horse, Danny-Boy, and seven grandchildren. With my husband, who is a retired gamekeeper, I help cultivate a large garden on the very edge of the moors. Quite challenging! Life is never dull or boring!
I love to write poetry and, since going digital, work a lot with photography. Recently I have developed some of our pictures to canvas.

I love the sound of your world, pictures, poetry the moors and a horse, wonderful!
Oh what a beautiful visdta you have spread out before you, and all around. Just glorious! Your horse IS very handsome! Sigh. Your living on the moors makes me think of Wuthering Heights:)
Thank you for your comments. I have been very remiss and will catch up with my news – I seem to have been so busy! Have my 2 small grandchildren today so no time to write!
We lived in your part of the world (Pickering) a few years back; the NY Moors are truly wonderful. Thank you for sharing your corner of North Yorkshire with us, and bringing back some very happy memories!
Very nice to ‘meet’ you, Anne and thanks for visiting my pages. What beautiful photographs – I’m looking forward to reading your blog!
Thanks for visiting. Hope to get my first nature notes for 2012 posted later today
